The problem
- Internal resourcing and maximising consultant utilisation was high on the agenda for Prestige Purchasing. It was imperative that the workforce’s visibility of sales, projects and resources were improved to prevent consultant burn out.
- Consultant overrun on budgeted versus actual time and costs were not sufficiently tracked by Prestige’s previous system. Reporting left a 6 week lag and given the 3 month average project duration there was only one opportunity to identify scope change/overrun.
